69 London venues where the alcohol-free drinks are worth going out for.
Dry Trip started with a drink at Keefer Lake Lodge in British Columbia. Our founder, Katherine, didn’t want alcohol, but she didn’t want something bland either. She asked for a drink with a bit of bite, something that tasted like a proper cocktail. The barman made one up on the spot. She still doesn’t know what was in it, but she preferred it to the alcoholic version.
In London, that drink usually exists. It’s just hard to find. When researchers audited pubs, bars and restaurants in London and Manchester, almost all had at least one alcohol-free option, but only 18% of the cocktails on offer were alcohol-free, and nearly a third of venues didn’t list alcohol-free drinks on the menu at all.
Whether this is your first Sober October or you stopped drinking years ago, these are the places where it’s on the menu, not behind the bar.
